Insulation is standard black rubber, which is a closed cell and light weight elastomeric material (in compliance with ASTM E96-00). The copper tubing is manufactured according to ASTM B280 and meets ASTM B1003 - standard specification for seamless copper tube for line sets. Meets ASTM E84 for smoke and fire (25/50) - UV resistant - R-410A and R-454B approved.
